32 waterfalls" is a collection of creative non-fiction prose. Lacey started writing these small snippets describing the emotions behind her lived experiences three years ago, shortly after moving to California from her home state of Texas. It wasn't until six months before publishing that she decided to pour the pain, grief, and celebration of all she had been through into what became this body of work. "32 waterfalls" touches on identity, growing up in a small town, finding truth, living in the shadows of someone else's story, learning and unlearning, true love, being burned by love, and finding your voice amongst chaos. It is a reflection of the human experience. Her hope is that people who spend time in the pages of "32 waterfalls" will find pieces of their own story woven throughout.
