Frohlockender Götterstreit nannte Johann Sebastian Bachs Textdichter Salomon Franck die Gratulationsmusik für den Hof von Sachsen-Weißenfels, die heute als Jagdkantate BWV 208 allgemein bekannt ist. Das Werk wurde in Anwesenheit des Komponisten vermutlich am 23. Februar 1713, dem 31. Geburtstag des Herzogs Christian, uraufgeführt. Damals bestand der Chor wohl nur aus den vier Solisten, doch selbstverständlich kann er auch größer besetzt werden...
