When we discover that the Lord Jesus was not only delivered for our offenses but raised again for our justification, we find in His rising a certain faith. The resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ is not only the proof of a work perfectly accomplished on the cross, it is the pledge of a work to be done ina ll who believe its message.

Where would we be without the cross of Christ? It is man's only hope. At Calvary, heaven and hell grappled in a cosmic struggle, and heaven won. If we sense that our devotion to Christ is not as it should be, we can rediscover our first love for Him where we first loved Him--at Calvary.
