Flow Properties of Polar and Non-Polar Hard-Rod Fluids

The orientational behavior and flow properties of polar and non-polar hard rod fluids subjected to a flow is investigated. The averaged orientation and dipole moments of rods are represented by the second rank alignment tensor and the dipole vector, respectively.
