After my second heart attack, I couldn't work at my normal job. On my 23rd Anniversary I wrote my first poem for my wife. Everyone loved it. This is my third and last book on poem's of the heart. I feel like God touched me to write these Three books of poems. I truly believe God wants people to see these poems and maybe be touched by them. I hope these poems in such a way might bless your life as it has mine.

The rain is falling on this cold, rainy day. It's the kind of weather that stirs memories from years gone by. Today I was thinking of my precious mother, who left us when she was forty-three years old. At the time, I was only a child, the age of eleven. Many years have passed since then, but still some of the memories are clear and warm. Beginning today, August 16, 1999, I'll endeavor to write them down - - - TO PRESERVE THE SMILES. TO PRESERV...
