The Rise of the Robots

The sun was setting, and a large crowd of robots stood watching a figure in a robe. There was a circle drawn on the ground, and four sci-fi type mechs were spaced out evenly around it holding various items. One by one, they offered up the rare gifts to the hooded being who laid them on the ground as he recited the words of the ritual. You could see the outline of a portal beginning to form as a sky blue swirling substance began to appear.
