A "70s" Child, Vickie Brent-Touray was born and raised about 25 miles north of Detroit in the City of Pontiac, Michigan in the wake of 'great industry, greater music, the best food and even better times." The entire Midwest was thriving and pulsing in the cradle of what was affectionately call "The Big 3" (Ford, General Motors and Chrysler companies).It was in the cradle of this great metropolis that the author was first inspired to pen personal experiences of visions, smells, and sounds that she considered truly "marvelous" in their own rite.
