In this book, the authors present current research in the study of the physics, composition/dynamics and health impacts of atmosphere and climate. Topics discussed include global warming in the context of millennial climate history, large ice sheets may have the capacity to self-destruct and cause rapid and permanent changes in global climate and sea level, temporal and spatial patterns of PM10 concentrations in urban areas, and advanced fibrous adsorbents for CO2 removal from power plants and the atmosphere.
