A 2000 mile bicycle journey following one of the routes of the Underground Railroad, assisted by the kindness of strangers -
"conductors" and "stationmasters" along the route. The adventure became a lesson in history and awareness, challenges, surprises and overcoming an unexpected personal crisis.
