Blood on the Irons

Sergeant Jacob Brenner is a twenty-five year veteran of the Indianapolis Police Department. Working narcotics and vice for much of his career, Brenner had always lived on the dangerous edge of life until he met Carla Waltz. A niece to
wealthy banker and businessman, William Skiles, Brenner has finally found someone who he loves and more importantly, trusts. On the eve of his proposing marriage, Carla is suddenly killed. The coroner rules her death accidental, but Brenner suspects differently. Why is his investigation met with resistance from the family and the Department?

Another death investigation on the Skiles estate leads Brenner to an unexpected meeting with the CIA. Brenner is recruited to help with their investigation of Annie Taylor, a prominent Grand Prix Show Jumper, and the prime suspect in the deaths of two CIA agents. Brenner's undercover skills will be put to the ultimate test to keep him alive as he tries to discover what Annie Taylor is up to before it's too late.

From Indianapolis to West Palm Beach, with a finale in Nashville, the investigation leads Brenner on his most dangerous assignment ever.
