Part one covers training the rider: the rider's position for flatwork and jumping - establishing the rider's position, position on the lunge - theory and use of the aids. Part two covers training the horse. The gaits - lungeing, initial training of foals and young horses, basic training of the horse, improving performance, advanced training on the flat, teaching the horse to jump, and cross country training.
