Article premier. La Société a pour objet de favo riser par les moyens en son pouvoir la connaissance et l'expansion de tout ce qui intéresse ou touche, surtout dans le passé, le département des Hautes - Alpes et la région dont il fait partie, au point de vue historique, scientifique, artistique et littéraire, de rechercher et collectionner les objets se rapportant à ces différentes branches.
