Martha Jane Cannary (May 1, 1852 - August 1, 1903), better known as Calamity Jane, was an American frontierswoman, sharpshooter, Pony Express rider, stage coach driver, wild west show performer and so much more. As a contemporary of Wild Bill Hickok, Buffalo Bill and other illustrious figures of the frontier plains, Calamity Jane found center stage with the noted men of the west.
