The first book in the Chicken of the Sea trilogy concludes with Victor Joshua Walker's family safely reunited in the Marquesas Islands of French Polynesia, however, his father's paranoia is unchanged. Chicken Too begins two weeks later. The sun is a fireball on the horizon when Victor's grandmother sees a ship steaming towards them.
