D'altra parte, l'assottigliarla con troncamenti, avrebbe alterate le proporzioni dell'opera. Onde de' Capitoli IV, V, VI e VII, che di detto libro restavano, e coi quali si chiude la Prima Parte, formiamo il presente volume quale strettissima continuazione del secondo, facendo che un quarto contenga la materia della_parte Seconda degli Ammaestramenti, meno ampliata, per la ragione indicata nel discorso proemiale.
