After leaving academia on not-so-great terms, Harper Sinclair started her own business helping new faculty build their research labs (with some interesting part-time jobs in between). When Jonathan Hoffman, a new rising-star faculty at UCLA, solicits Harper's services, Harper expects this will be like any other job. And it is. Until this adorable academic wants more than Harper's design ideas.


Jonathan has been inspired by Harper since he was a graduate student. Now that she is working with him, will she live up to the Harper he knew before she left academia?
