This is a collection of the transcribed diaries of Eva Schurr Wiley of Shawsville, Maryland with accompanying family photographs. They begin in 1936, the first diary being a gift from her mother-in-law, and continue, with only occasional short lapses, for over forty years, chronicling day-to-day farm life in mid-twentieth century Harford County, Maryland.
