Jo Wheaton, Amy Astin, Darci Haim and Emma Young, known around their school as the girls of J*A*D*E*(s) find themselves embroiled in a mystery. The Blue, a unique sapphire has been stolen and a statue slated to unveiled at their school may have held a clue. F.B.I. Agent Sean Wheaton, Jo's father, grants them permission to play detective.
Their investigating brings them to a house in the California canyons filled with secret passageways, and a man who haunts the halls, seeking what he thinks is his, The Blue. As the mystery unfolds, and clues are revealed, Jo, Amy, Darci and Emma find themselves in peril. Though the other people seeking The Blue aren't the only foe they face. An ancient society called The Kindred are interested in the teenagers of J*A*D*E (s).
While finding challenges with an ever increasing mystery, two girls of J*A*D*E (s) find themselves battling their uncanny attraction to each other. It all ends in a high stakes showdown that leaves their lives changed forever.
