Although English has been known as the global language worldly to be used as an economical, technological, and scientific language, still there have been some monolingual societies which their native languages are not English. Monolingual societies have got various resistances toward accepting new languages which narrowed down to a plenty of cultural and self-identity impacts to look into. Therefor a qualitative research on resistances in a monolingual society took place to reveal the inner layers of current situation toward learning English as a foreign language (EFL) through this book. This study provides better understanding for both academicians and students to improvise either teaching or learning a new language through knowing the available resistances which finally lead to attain the aim of globalization in communication.
