In June 2023 Corporations 3M, DuPont, Chemours, and Corteva settled to pay $11.5 billion for cleanup expenses associated with PFAS. Scientists of these Corporations knew of the health and environmental hazards since 1970, kept this knowledge hidden, and made huge profits from manufacture and sale for a half century. Ultimate clean up cost in US projected to be $62 billion. PFAS are only an example of Endocrine Disruptor Chemicals used worldwide. Other major EDCs are many pesticides.
