Those who have been displaced from their home by war and political violence--at least 33 million worldwide--have high rates of psychological distress that affects their ability to adapt and cope. This book describes innovative, culturally grounded, community-based interventions, developed in the framework of an ecological model of care, to address their mental health needs.
