Zane Reid has been pining for the girl he left behind since they were teenagers. Her brother was his best friend and when she grew from a gangly kid with braids into a woman he couldn't stop thinking about her. He promised to be there when her world fell apart, but circumstances beyond his control meant he broke his promise.
