No Turning Back can best be described as an epic adventure, where nearly each day brings unimaginable challenges, all of which must be overcome for this voyage to succeed. Sailing on a shoe-string budget with shore support of only one, his loving wife Debbie, team Sailors Run will take on one very tough adversary, the "Southern Ocean." Not even with his 49 years of sailing experience can he be sure to survive all that will be heaped upon him and his beloved war horse, Sailors Run. The Jefe' [Jeff Hartjoy] gets his metal tested in this journey alone around the world, non-stop and unassisted aboard his forty foot Ketch. This challenging conquest is intensified early on by the failure of numerous pieces of critical equipment. When most expected him to turn back, he pressed on. Visited by spirits along the way, he is pulled into a dimension he never even knew existed, something he would have many days to ponder. Leaving on the voyage with what seemed like an overabundance of provisions, he begins to doubt his ability to survive on the few remaining supplies and water at hand. All these challenges make this voyage a very memorable one. I believe, when you have such a passion for sailing as what dwells within me, you will be driven to the ultimate limit of your abilities.
