As the year of 2236 dawns, two teenagers, Shockeray Rayson and Echo Rafferty, succeed in a daring escape from the slave mines on the planet of Zhome. But Shockeray can't live in peace while countless others live in forced labor under the cold-hearted rule of Emperor Nicola.
Despite the odds of failure, the two decide to rescue their brothers from the mines, but begin unraveling more than they were prepared for as a larger plot of Emperor Nicola's begins to appear.
