In the late 19th and early 20th century, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) commissioned a collection of paintings to be made of various fruits and nuts.

This book contains a small portion of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Pomological Watercolor Collection. Inside are 114 watercolor paintings of 107 different fruits and nuts.
