Journey of Awakening is the first volume of Initium, book I of the Providentia Arcana.

Jean Altosso finds himself in a mysterious
place called the Gate Between Worlds. There
he meets the Gatekeeper, who claims that
his home world has been destroyed.
Taking upon him the quest to gather
fragments of the Hearts of other worlds,
Jean departs on a journey with the sword
that can cleave through Space, Netherion.

And thus their great adventure begins...
