The Sarum Rite of the Western Church developed at Salisbury Cathedral after the Norman conquest. By the time of the Reformation it had become the dominant form of liturgy throughout the British Isles. The three volumes of Sarum Diurnal Latin present all of the text, music, and rubrics for the observance of the Day Hours throughout the year.
