Werner Herzog has produced, written, and directed more than seventy films, including Nosferatu the Vampyre, Aguirre, the Wrath of God, Fitzcarraldo, and Grizzly Man. He grew up in a remote mountain village in Bavaria and now lives in Los Angeles, California.
