Seth, a beekeeper, living on the coast of Oregon, discovers his bees are dying. While in search of a swarm that vanished from a collapsed hive, Seth is led to meet Melody. Melody is a collector and preserver of heirloom seeds, genetically unaltered. She is also acquainted with the spirit world and Time Travelers. They are haunted by an evil entity that attempts to stop their quest to save the earth and mankind from annihilation and destroy them. During Melody and Seth's quest, they come to a place where the ordinary is strange and the strange is ordinary and all life that is, was and will be is in the now.
