In 2009 I took this series of images of Los Angeles with the aim of having a Hungarian look at it. The images do not try to emphasize the difference between the two cultures in fact they do quite the opposite.
Our visual expressions show a lot of similarities and one could assume that the people of Los Angeles and the people of Hungary have a much synchronised mind set.
In my interpretation these pictures expose the unique parallels between certain parts of our lives.
This album uses visuality as the language for communication, encourages associative thinking and uses a documentary style to reveal the political, social and artistic similarities and differences of the two cultures.
