Hearing that two of Good Cheer Hospital's patients didn't make it following routine surgery, bed-and-breakfast hostess Judith McMonigle Flynn is eased about her hip surgery only by sharing her hospital room with her cousin, Renie, who's in for rotator cuff repair. The cousins survive their surgeries, but the ex-pro quarterback in for minor knee surgery does not. Soon, Judith and Renie look to sew up the case.
