The Legacy of Norbert Hofer and the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) - A Dictatorial Party facilitating Inequality, Human Rights Abuses and Neo-Nazi Activities in the Republic of Austria

At the World Holocaust Forum in January 2020, which marked 75 years since the liberation of Auschwitz - the former German Nazi death camp where over 1.1 million Jews were murdered - survivors issued a warning against a new wave of anti-Semitic violence in Europe. In an interview with The Times of Israel, President Reuven Rivlin chastised European governments that glorify Nazi collaborators as national heroes and downplay their citizens' complicity in anti-Jewish atrocities. At the same time, he slammed populist right-wing politicians in Europe who campaign on xenophobic and anti-Semitic platforms, in an apparent reference to parties such as Austria's FPÖ Party. Evidence-based research also indicates that the FPÖ Party is responsible for the facilitation of neo-Nazi activities in the Republic of Austria - as well as hate speech, anti-Semitism and Xenophobia. As things stand, the FPÖ is a disgrace to the International Community. Hence the FPÖ Party must not be too proud to receive help from the International Community and NGO's to improve itself - so that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) can be restored in Austria. A cause for concern is also, that Austrian authorities have unveiled a design for turning the house where Adolf Hitler was born into a police station, in the northern Austrian town of Braunau am Inn where Hitler was born on 20 April 1889. This sends a dangerously, ambivalent message to the International Community, as this could be interpreted as a glorification of the Nazi dictator, as well as a blatant lack of empathy towards Holocaust victims. Hence it is imperative that Austria's ÖVP-Green government - namely the Kurz II government - implements the demolition of Hitler's house, since Adolf Hitler was responsible for the murder of six million Jews and millions of others by the Nazis and their collaborators during World War II. To the anti-Semitic Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, Jews were an inferior race, an alien threat to German racial purity and community. After years of Nazi rule in Germany, during which Jews were consistently persecuted, Hitler's "final solution" - now known as the Holocaust - came to fruition under the cover of World War II, with mass killing centers constructed in the concentration camps of occupied Poland. Approximately six million Jews and some 5 million others, targeted for racial, political, ideological and behavioral reasons, died in the Holocaust. More than one million of those who perished were children.
