Dr Jeremy Jones has just started his new job at Dhammasam University when a down-at-heel farang asks him to help to find his missing Thai girlfriend, Nan. After a futile search in the highways and byways of Bangkok, Dr Jones finds a clue to her whereabouts in The Ramakian, an ancient Thai epic that leads him on perilous quest through Thailand, Sri Lanka and the Maldives. The story was inspired by The Da Vinci Code, by Dan Brown, the Thai epic, Ramakian, and the author's own experiences in Thailand.
