Essentially, it retains all the great ideas of capitalism and socialism while discarding the problems these systems have. In consumerism there is no unemployment or homelessness. The three taxes are not usually applied and are implemented only as a last resort. The people have access to goods and services of the highest quality. Inflation is minimal or non existent. Consumerism is a general and elaborate theory of economics.
