In this collection of poems (mostly) written during A.C.'s senior year of high school, we have fantasy stories with nature settings and descriptions of the highs and lows of high school. The Way I Felt encapsulates how life can feel when you're in love, changing friend groups, falling out of love, feeling alone, and being on top of the world, while also giving stories about the changing world.
