Dan doesn't really like people. Except his wife. And his cats. Do they count?


But when his feline friends disappear for a few days they return different. Catman has grown in size and strength, and The Flash seems to be trying to communicate. They've been caught sneaking into his new neighbour's home and stalking a guy in a parka, and, despite his wife's suggestion that he is being a little too imaginative, Dan is desperate to find out why.


Other cats on the street are going missing too, but these ones aren't coming back. Could the new neighbour be stealing them for devious experimentation? Is the man in the parka taking pets for his own dark designs? Who is the strange disappearing woman spotted in the woods near the industrial estate and what is her involvement? The police aren't interested in helping, so it's up to Dan and his courageous kitties to uncover the truth.
