The works by one of the most important Chinese contemporary artists, considered one of the symbols of new China. The book presents a selection of paintings never exhibited in the West, made from 2013 to today, it includes the series Daily Life (2013-2014), Ritual (2015), Obscured Existence (2018-2020), The Shadow of Memory (2021), together with self-portraits and other paintings. Moreover, his work is rooted in Kant¿s aesthetics as a fundamental reference point.
