The day after Thanksgiving in 1990, 33-year-old Ed Brady was at home with his wife when he got a phone call from a mysterious woman claiming to be his mother. He would spend the next 24 hours discovering that he was, in fact, adopted. It took some convincing and traveling back and forth between his mother (the woman who raised him) and his birth mother to come to terms with his lineage.
