Ryan and Tony, friends who enjoy white water canoeing, have made some wrong choices. Ryan moves in with Tony, leaving his wife, Janet, and their two teenage children. However, Tony is so impressed by Janet's inner strength that he is led into some dramatic experiences of the reality and power of Jesus. He is transformed, and his life acquires new meaning.
