This book is not a biography, nor it is intended to be, but it is based on actual events. It shows the horrors that women are suffering in the Middle East, that these horrors are not confined only to the Middle East, that such abuses can and do happen here in North America and that evil should be denounced and challenged wherever and whenever it shows its face.
It tells the story of two women on two different continents and the humiliation and the abuses they suffered, but it also tells the story of friendship and how pain is felt by all.
At the beginning I didn't want to write it, but recent civil wars in the Middle East and the barrage of gruesome videos compelled me to tell my story. It is not a pretty story, but it is an important story that I felt needed to be told.
Some of the proceeds from this book will go to a charitable organization, an orphanage in the Middle East, and I dedicate it also to my wife, who growing up suffered abuses in her native country.
