The Internet is the most important advent of Information Technology, representing
millions of computers around the world connected in a single network. It is a
world-wide computer network that can be accessed via a computer, mobile telephone,
PDA, games machine, digital TV, etc. It has become an important source of information
for all sections of people, and is the main source of academic reference. Internet services
are available in all parts of the country, and have experienced tremendous growth
worldwide. The Internet has several distinctive features, such as being an active and
interactive medium, and being a two way medium. An Internet User is defined as an
individual who can access the Internet, via computer or mobile device, within the home
where the individual lives.
